Welcome to Jemison Carver STEM International School. It is with great pride and deep purpose that I invite you to learn more about the community we have built here — one centred on excellence, equity, and the extraordinary potential of every young learner.
At JC STEM International School, we pride ourselves on crafting lasting relationships with families, fostering innovative thinking, and research-based approaches to teaching and learning. We are — and remain committed to being — a driving force in STEM education for this and future generations.
Our school is named after two individuals who changed the world not by waiting for permission, but by daring to discover. Mae Jemison broke barriers to reach the stars. George Washington Carver transformed the ordinary into the remarkable. These names remind us daily of what becomes possible when young minds are nurtured, challenged, and believed in.
At JCSIS, we have made a deliberate choice to keep our classes intimate — a 10:1 student-to-teacher ratio — because we believe that knowing a child deeply is the foundation of teaching them well. Our highly qualified instructors do not just deliver curriculum; they build relationships. They are experienced in creating and implementing research-based strategies and practices that are rigorous and individualised to meet the distinctive needs of each learner.

We employ our students to be responsible digital citizens as they access our educational platforms, conduct research, learn coding, build apps, and explore software. Our curriculum is aligned with the American Common Core Standards and Next Generation Science Standards — both approved by the US Department of Education — giving every JCSIS graduate a globally recognised foundation.
