JCSIS | Connect · Grow · Inspire
Our curriculum is aligned with the American Common Core Standards and Next Generation Science Standards, approved by the US Department of Education.
With a 10:1 student-to-teacher ratio, our students receive tailored attention and guidance to excel academically. Every learner is treated as an individual with distinctive needs.
We offer an American curriculum aligned with Common Core State Standards, providing students with a globally recognised education that prepares them for success at every level.
Our STEM courses empower students to develop innovative skills, think critically, and solve real-world problems — from Preschool through Grade 5, every day.
As an international school, we foster a diverse community that celebrates different cultures, promoting global understanding, inclusivity, and lifelong friendships.
We provide accessible technology and devices, ensuring students stay connected and engaged in their learning journey — conducting research, coding, apps, and software.
Teaching STEM at a young age encourages more children to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Access to a quality STEM curriculum gives every child the opportunity to:

PreK – 5
Every grade, every subject, every day
Jemison Carver STEM International School takes its name from two pioneering figures whose legacies of curiosity, innovation, and perseverance inspire everything we do.

First African American Woman in Space
In 1992, Dr. Mae Jemison became the first African American woman to go to space. She embarked on an 8-day mission aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavour and, while in space, conducted experiments to learn more about bone cells — proving that science, determination, and breaking barriers go hand in hand.
“Don't let anyone rob you of your imagination, your creativity, or your curiosity.”
Pioneer Scientist & Inventor
George Washington Carver invented over 300 ways to use peanuts — including peanut butter, pavement, bleach, and mayonnaise. He also created hundreds of uses for soybeans, pecans, and sweet potatoes, transforming agriculture and demonstrating that science in the service of people is the greatest force for change.
“When you do the common things in life in an uncommon way, you will command the attention of the world.”

Every decision we make — from curriculum design to classroom culture — is guided by these core commitments.
Our highly qualified instructors implement research-based strategies that are rigorous and individualised to meet the distinctive needs of every learner.
STEM is not an add-on — it is woven into every subject, every grade, every day. Students apply math and science to solve real engineering problems using technology.
We foster a diverse community celebrating different cultures, promoting global understanding and lifelong friendships across all backgrounds.
With a 10:1 student-to-teacher ratio, every child receives the tailored guidance they need to excel — known, seen, and supported every single day.
We instil social-emotional foundations promoting self-love and empathy for others — because character development goes hand-in-hand with academic excellence.
Students become responsible digital citizens through coding, research, app development, and software — mastering technology thoughtfully and ethically.
